Titanic Honour & Glory will be docking at Time and Tide from April 1st through to September 24th 2017. This unique exhibition brings to life the history of the legendary Ocean Liner, the Royal Mail Steamer Titanic, an exhibition voted one of the top five exhibitions in the United Kingdom by The Times newspaper.

Titanic Exhibition Opens in Chelmsford
Chelmsford Civic Society presents the Titanic Honour & Glory Exhibition which is open in Bond Street in Chelmsford, CM1 1GD on Thursday to Sunday from 10.30-16.00 running from April to June. Sean Smalc’s fascination with Titanic began at the age of five, when he saw the film 'A Night to Remember'. He has been amassing the awe-inspiring collection ever since. 'This diverse exhibition appeals to so many people from all age groups' Sean says. ‘With this exhibition we aim to increase the knowledge of Titanic's history and that of her sister ships and the White Star Line, which owned and operated many of the finest liners ever to sail the high seas. Every visitor will get a feeling of what it was like to have been aboard Titanic. The exhibition will take you on a genuine voyage of discovery’.

for our freedom and yours exhibition displayFor Our Freedom and Yours - The story of the 1st Polish armoured division.  A fascinating exhibition which traces the story of the famous polish armoured division from their formation in Scotland in 1942 to their campaigns in western europe in 1944 - 1945 under the command of the esteemed General Stanislaw Maczek. 

The exhibition features many rare and previously unseen artefacts and images which capture the story from the invasion of Poland in September 1939, to the end of the war in 1945.  An unprecedented insight through a soldiers eyes into what it was like on the front lines from the begining of the war to the capitulation of Germany in May 1945.

for our freedom and yours  exhibition displayComplimenting the exhibition are a few stunning film props including a magnificent US Rangers uniform from the D-Day beach scenes and one of the helmets worn by leading actor Tom Hanks from Saving Private Ryan.   From Band of Brothers the famous mini series we have a complete US airborne costume which was worn throughout the series from the D-Day airborne invasion to the final scenes of the series.
